احتضنت معتمدية غار الملح من ولاية بنزرت يوم الخميس 6 فيفري 2020 احتفالات بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمناطق الرطبة الذي ينتظم تحت شعار ” المناطق الرطبة و التنوع البيولوجي “.
تظاهرة تحسيسية و إعلامية نظمها الصندوق العالمي للطبيعة بالتعاون مع الإدارة العامة للغابات .
أكد فوزي المعموري مديرالصندوق العالمي للطبيعة بشمال افريقيا، لدى إشرافه على افتتاح فعاليات التظاهرة، على أهمية التنوع البيولوجي لمنطقة غار الملح، فهي أول مدينة يتم اعتمادها كمنطقة رطبة خلال اتفاقية ” رامسار ” الدولية التي تعمل على حماية المناطق الرطبة و التنوع البيولوجي .
من جانبه أشار محمد بوفروة الى أن المناطق الرطبة التونسية تغطي أكثر من 8 بالمائة من مساحة البلاد ، و تأخذ عدة أشكال مثل السدود و البحيرات ، كما تضم 260 نوعا من النباتات البرية و 50 نوعا من النباتات المائية و 140 نوعا من الطيور.
كما شدد بوفروة على إنشاء تطبيقة تعنى بتوفير المعلومة بهدف التصدي للخروقات في المناطق الرطبة كالتلوث و الصيد الجائر و الزخف العمراني .
تضمن برنامج التظاهرة تنطيم ورشات بيئية و جلسة نقاش حول هذا الموضوع و معرض خاص بالمناطق الرطبة
و مساحة مخصصة للجمعيات البيئية للتعريف بنشاطاتها و للحرفيات لعرض أعمالهن و الترويج لها، إلى جانب تفعيل الأطفال في هذا الاحتفال

كما انتظمت زيارة لبحيرة غار الملح التي تمتد على أكثر من 10 آلاف هكتار و يسترزق منها قرابة 700 بحار.
