ولقد سعت المملكة العربية السعودية مع كل موسم حج الى تطوير الخدمات الموجهة لضيوف الرحمان بهدف تسهيل تنقلاتهم وادائهم لمناسكهم في افضل الظروف واحسنها وفي كل امان واستقرار ، ويستفيد من هذه المبادرة في موسم حج هذا العام 225 ألف حاج وحاجة من خمس دول انضمت إلى هذه المبادرة وهي: تونس وباكستان وبنغلاديش وإندونيسيا وماليزيا.
وستمكن هذه المبادرة، الحجاج المستفيدون من تجاوز العديد من الإجراءات عند وصولهم إلى السعودية، وسيمكنهم الانتقال مباشرة إلى الحافلات التي تكون بانتظارهم لنقلهم إلى أماكن إقامتهم بمكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، بينما تتولى الجهات الخدمية استلام أمتعة الحجاج المستفيدين من المبادرة، ونقلها إليهم في الدور السكنية في مكة المكرمة.
وتعتبر مبادرة ” طريق مكة” إحدى مبادرات ” التي يجري تنفيذها ضمن برامج التحول الوطني 2020 تحقيقاً لرؤية المملكة 2030 للارتقاء بمستوى جودة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن وتيسير أداء مناسكهم، وما تحرزه من تقدم في اختصار الوقت والجهد على حجاج بيت الله الحرام في عدد من الدول.
وقد أطلقت وزارة الداخلية مبادرة “طريق مكة” بالتعاون مع وزارات “الخارجية والصحة والحج والعمرة” وهيئتي الجمارك والطيران المدني، ومركز المعلومات الوطني، وهي تساهم مبادرة في تسهيل إجراءات دخول ضيوف الرحمن عبر منافذ المملكة حيث يتوجه الحجاج المستفيدين منها فورا مغادرتهم من الطائرات الي الحافلات التي تكون في انتظارهم لنقلهم إلى الدور السكنية واستلام أمتعتهم فيها دون انتظارها في منافذ الوصول، و تشمل الخدمات التي تقدمها مبادرة “طريق مكة” في منافذ مغادرة الحجاج من دولهم؛ إصدار تأشيرات الحج ، وأخذ الخصائص الحيوية، والتحقق من توفر الاشتراطات الصحية، وإنهاء إجراءات سفرهم، وفرز وترميز الامتعه.
وعرفت هذه المبادرة نجاحا مميزا مكن من زيادة عدد الحجاج المستفدين من خدمات مبادرة “طريق مكة” من (١٠٣) آلاف حاج بموسم حج ١٤٣٩هـ إلى أكثر من (٢٢٥) ألف حاج بموسم حج العام ١٤٤٠هـ ، حيث توفر المبادرة على ضيوف الرحمن عناء الانتظار عند وصولهم إلى منافذ المملكة، لإنهاء اجراءات الدخول واستلام الامتعة، و تسهم مبادرة “طريق مكة” في تقليل زمن انتظار الحجاج غير المشمولين بها في منافذ الوصول الى المملكة، حيث يغادر الحجاج المستفيدين منها عبر مسارات اليكترونية مخصصة لهم، مما يخفف من شدة الزحام وتأخر الإجراءات.
