تمثل العلاقات بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية التونسية الشقيقة حجر زاوية في مختلف المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والأمنية والثقافية وغيرها، ويعتز البلدان بما يحققه كل منهما من تطور ونماء
تعزيزًا على ما بني تاريخيًا من أواصر الأخوة وعلاقات للتعاون بين قيادات المملكة وتونس.
وترتقي العلاقات السعودية التونسية بأهميتها إلى مصاف العلاقات التاريخية المتجذرة، ذلك لما للمملكة وتونس من ثقل تاريخي في العالمين العربي والإسلامي، حيث يحرص البلدان في كل لقاء يجمعهما على زيادة تفعيل آليات التعاون وتعزيز العلاقات تماشيًا مع النهج نحو إرساء علاقات طيبة بينهما.
ومنذ تولي خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ أيده الله ـ مقاليد الحكم وهو يواصل ما سارت عليه المملكة من سعي لتعزيز أُطر التعاون في مختلف المجالات والوقوف مع تونس
والتونسيين بشكل خاص.
وكان خادم الحرمين الشريفين – حفظه الله – سباقًا في تهنئة ومواساة تونس في الكثير من المناسبات والأحداث، فقد حرص – رعاه الله – على بعث برقيات التهنئة في ذكرى أعياد البلاد وبرقيات التعزية والمواساة في بعض الأحداث كالفيضانات التي شهدتها عدة ولايات في الجمهورية التونسية وما نتج عنها من وفيات ومفقودين ، وفي الأحداث الإرهابية ، وفي وفاة بعض الشخصيات، كما أجرى ـ أيده الله ـ يوم التاسع من شهر رمضان المبارك لعام 1436هـ اتصالاً هاتفيًا بأخيه فخامة الرئيس الباجي قائد السبسي رئيس الجمهورية التونسية، معربًا فيه عن إدانته وعزائه ومواساته في ضحايا الهجوم المسلح الذي وقع
في مدينة سوسة الساحلية بتونس.
وفي شهر ذي الحجة من العام ذاته وامتدادًا لتبادل المشاعر بين البلدين تجاه كل منهما تسلم خادم الحرمين الشريفين – حفظه الله – رسالة خطية من فخامة الرئيس التونسي خلال استقباله لمعالي وزير الشؤون الدينية رئيس الوفد الرسمي للحجاج التونسيين عثمان بطيخ، وحوت الرسالة التهنئة بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك، والتعازي والمواساة في حادث التدافع بمشعر منى وما نتج عنه من وَفَيَات وإصابات.
وشهد عام 1437 هـ لقاءً بين خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ رعاه الله ـ وفخامة الرئيس الباجي قائد السبسي رئيس الجمهورية التونسية، وذلك خلال الزيارة التي قام بها فخامته للرياض، والتي أشاد في تصريحات إعلامية سبقتها بالعلاقات الأخوية التي تربط البلدين الشقيقين ووصفها بالتاريخية والمبنية على الاحترام المتبادل والتشاور المستمر، وقال فخامته “علاقات تونس مع المملكة العربية السعودية يرجع تاريخها إلى الملك عبد العزيز ـ رحمه الله ـ والزيارة التي قام بها الرئيس الراحل الحبيب بورقيبة إلى المملكة والتي كان لها تأثير بالغ في مستقبل تونس“.
كما شهدت الأعوام التالية عدة لقاءات بين القائدين على هامش القمم العربية والإسلامية منها اللقاء الذي جمعهما في العام 1438 هـ على هامش أعمال القمة التي عقدت في منطقة البحر الميت، والذي جرى
خلاله تبادل الأحاديث حول العلاقات الأخوية ومجالات التعاون بين البلدين الشقيقين.
وعلى صعيد العلاقات السياسية والعسكرية بين البلدين فقد التقى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع -حفظه الله- معالي المستشار الأول للأمن القومي لدى رئيس الجمهورية التونسية اللواء كمال العكروت، وذلك على هامش الاجتماع الأول لمجلس وزراء دفاع التحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب الذي عقد في العاصمة الرياض عام 1439هـ .
وتبعه في العام الحالي 1440هـ تنفيذ مناورات جوية مشتركة بين القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية وسلاح طيران الجيش التونسي، بهدف دعم أواصر التعاون والعلاقات بين القوات الجوية في البلدين وصقل وتأهيل الأطقم الجوية من طيارين وفنيين وتبادل الخبرات في مجال الإمداد والإسناد الفني، وتوج ختام هذا التمرين برعاية صاحب السمو الملكي الفريق الركن تركي بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز قائد القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية.
وبالعودة للجانب السياسي فلا تكاد اللقاءات الثنائية أن تنقطع بين البلدين الشقيقين من أجل التباحث في الأمور ذات الاهتمام المشترك بينهما والسعي لتطويرها وتعزيزها، ويرى ذلك جليًا في اللقاءات المتعددة التي تجمع معالي وزير الخارجية الأستاذ عادل بن أحمد الجبير بنظيره معالي وزير الشؤون الخارجية بجمهورية تونس، سواء كان ذلك في الاجتماعات المشتركة التي تجمعهما أو في الزيارات المتبادلة ومنها زيارة معالي وزير الخارجية لتونس في العام 1437هـ.
وفي 27 نوفمبر 2018 م زار صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع الجمهورية التونسية .
وكان في استقبال سمو ولي العهد في المطار الرئاسي في العاصمة تونس فخامة الرئيس الباجي قايد السبسي رئيس الجمهورية التونسية وكبار المسؤولين في الحكومة التونسية.
وقد أقيمت مراسم استقبال رسمية لسمو ولي العهد، حيث عٌزِفَ السلام الملكي السعودي والنشيد الوطني التونسي، واستعرضا حرس الشرف.
كما كان في استقبال سمو ولي العهد في المطار الرئاسي أصحاب المعالي الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين في الحكومة التونسية.
وبعد استراحة قصيرة في المطار صحب الرئيس التونسي، سمو ولي العهد في موكب رسمي إلى قصر قرطاج الرئاسي في العاصمة تونس.
بعد ذلك عقد صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع، اجتماعا ثنائيا مع فخامة الرئيس الباجي قائد السبسي رئيس الجمهورية التونسية، وذلك في قصر قرطاج الرئاسي بالعاصمة تونس بحضور وفدي البلدين.
ورحب الرئيس التونسي في بداية اللقاء بسمو ولي العهد في زيارته الحالية للجمهورية التونسية.
ونقل سمو ولي العهد، تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، للرئيس التونسي، فيما حمله فخامته تحياته لخادم الحرمين الشريفين.
عقب ذلك عقد سمو ولي العهد والرئيس التونسي اجتماعا موسعا بحضور وفدي البلدين، حيث جرى خلاله، استعراض علاقات التعاون السعودي التونسي، في شتى المجالات ، والفرص الواعدة لتطويرها ، بالإضافة إلى بحث تطورات الأحداث الإقليمية والدولية، والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.
وقد منح الرئيس التونسي الصنف الأكبر من وسام الجمهورية لسمو ولي العهد تقديرا لجهود سموه في دعم وتعزيز العلاقات السعودية التونسية .
وفي 12 ديسمبر 2018 م وصل دولة رئيس الحكومة التونسية يوسف الشاهد الرياض .وفي 13 ديسمبر 2018 م استقبل خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود – حفظه الله – ، في قصر العوجا بالدرعية ، دولة رئيس الحكومة بالجمهورية التونسية يوسف الشاهد.
وقد رحب خادم الحرمين الشريفين بدولته والوفد المرافق له في المملكة، فيما أعرب دولته عن سعادته بزيارة المملكة ولقائه خادم الحرمين الشريفين.
وقد أقام خادم الحرمين الشريفين – رعاه الله – مأدبة غداء تكريما لدولة رئيس الحكومة التونسية والوفد المرافق له.
وفي 03 مارس 2019 م عقد أصحاب السمو والمعالي وزراء الداخلية العرب في العاصمة التونسية اجتماعات الدورة السادسة والثلاثين لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، تحت رعاية فخامة الرئيس الباجي قائد السبسي رئيس الجمهورية التونسية .
ورأس وفد المملكة في الاجتماع صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز وزير الداخلية الرئيس الفخري لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب .
في 04 مارس 2019 م رأس صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز وزير الداخلية الرئيس الفخري لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب رئيس الدورة السادسة والثلاثين للمجلس، اجتماع مجلسي وزراء الداخلية والعدل العرب الذي عقد في تونس، بحضور دولة رئيس الحكومة بالجمهورية التونسية يوسف الشاهد.
وأعرب سموه في كلمة خلال الاجتماع عن شكره وتقدير لفخامة الرئيس التونسي الباجي قايد السبسي، ولحكومته، وللشعب التونسي الشقيق على حفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة.
ونقل سمو وزير الداخلية للمجتمعين تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع – حفظهما الله – وتمنياتهما لأعمال الاجتماع بالتوفيق والنجاح.
وقال سمو وزير الداخلية :” إن اجتماعنا المشترك يأتي تأكيداً على التنسيق والعمل المشترك بين مجالس الجامعة العربية بما يلبي طموحات وآمال قادتنا، وما تصبو إليه شعوبنا من أمن واستقرار ورخاء، ولا شك أن التنسيق والعمل المشترك بين مجلسي وزراء الداخلية والعدل العرب هو خطوة مهمة في سبيل تعزيز ودعم التعاون في المجالين الأمني والقضائي.
ولفت سموه الانتباه إلى أن التعاون بين المجلسين ليس حديث عهد، حيث تعود جذور العلاقة بينهما لعقود مضت بدأت باجتماع القاهرة عام 1998م، الذي تم خلاله التوقيع على الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب، وقد توالت الاجتماعات المشتركة في ما بين المجلسين إلى يومنا هذا.
وأضاف سمو الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود :” لقد اجتاحت منطقتنا والعالم أجمع موجة الإرهاب عنيفة ومدمرة على مدى السنوات الماضية، فضلا عن انتشار الجريمة المنظمة عبر الحدود الوطنية، وهذا الوضع الخطير وانعكاساته السلبية علينا يتطلب منا الوقوف جميعا متكاتفين في وجه هذه التحديات، ولا شك أن إبرام الاتفاقيات، ووضع الاستراتيجيات والخطط ذات الصلة الصادرة عن مؤسسات العمل العربي المشترك وتفعيلها، هي أحد أهم أدوات المواجهة.”
وتابع سموه قائلاً :” نأمل أن يصدر عن اجتماعنا هذا رسالة مفادها أن تعزيز التعاون بين بلداننا العربية هو من الأولويات التي لابد أن نسعى إلى الحفاظ عليها من خلال مؤسسات العمل العربي المشترك، وبما يحقق المزيد من التكامل والتعاون والتنسيق ، ولا شك أن إيجاد سبل لتفعيل الاتفاقيات الأمنية والقضائية العربية، والاستراتيجيات والقرارات ذات الصلة بمكافحة الإرهاب، سيدعم العمل العربي المشترك في سبيل الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار بلداننا وتحقيقا لأهداف التنمية المستدامة“.
وأشاد سمو وزير الداخلية في ختام كلمته بالاجتماع المشترك بين مجلسي وزراء الداخلية والعدل العرب، سائلا الله أن يوفق الجميع لما فيه الخير لأوطاننا وشعوبنا، معرباً عن شكره لأمانتي المجلسين على ما بَذَلَتاه من جهود موفقه لإنجاح هذا الاجتماع.
