أشرف سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى تونس الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن علي الصقر، ووزيرة التجهيز والإسكان التونسية سارة الزعفراني، اليوم، على تسليم 87 وحدة سكنية ممولة من الصندوق السعودي للتنمية، في مدينة غار الدماء التابعة لمحافظة جندوبة شمال غرب تونس.
وتتضمن المرحلة الأولى من المشروع تقديم 4715 مسكنًا اجتماعيًا بتمويل ميسر من الصندوق السعودي للتنمية تبلغ قيمته 150 مليون دولار أمريكي.
وعبرت وزيرة التجهيز والإسكان سارة الزعفراني عن سعادتها البالغة بهذا الإنجاز الذي سيسمح لعدد من العائلات محدودة الدخل بعيش حياة كريمة، مشيرة في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء السعودية، أن هذا المشروع ستلحقه مشاريع مماثلة قريبة من شأنها أن تحسن من حياة عدد من العائلات المحدودة الدخل.
وقدمت الوزيرة شكرها الجزيل لقيادة المملكة على ما توليه لتونس من اهتمام وحرص على تقوية علاقات الصداقة والتعاون المثمر.
من جانبه أوضح السفير الصقر في تصريح مماثل، أن سفارة المملكة في تونس وهي تتابع هذه المشاريع التي تخدم علاقات البلدين الشقيقين تتطلع إلى مزيد من التعاون المشترك بما يحقق الهدف المنشود منها، مشيرًا إلى أنه يوجد عدد من المشاريع الصحية والتراثية والثقافية تحت قيد الدراسة والبدء في أعمال الإنشاءات.
وأفاد الصقر أنه يوجد في الوقت الحالي 1939 مسكنًا جاهزًا في انتظار جاهزية قائمة المستفيدين منه، مذكرًا بأنه قد تم تسليم 331 مسكنًا في مدينة القيروان، و 18 مسكنًا في مدينة واد مليز.
