وأثنى معاليه على ما شهدته العلاقات السعودية التونسية من ازدهار في السنوات الأخيرة تحت قيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود وأخيه الرئيس التونسي قيس سعيد.
وواكب الحفل إقامة معرض صور لعدد من المواقع الأثرية في المملكة التي صنفت مؤخراً من قبل منظمة اليونسكو كتراث عالمي، إضافة إلى عرض لبعض التحف والأدوات التراثية في المملكة والمأكولات الشعبية المعروفة في المملكة، فضلاً عن عروض تلفزيونية لأغان ورقصات شعبية حظيت بإعجاب الحضور، الذين عبروا عن تهانيهم بهذا المناسبة وتمنياتهم الطيبة للمملكة حكومةً وشعباً.
حفل الاستقبال الذي احيته سفارة المملكة العربية السعودية بتونس شارك فيه العديد من الممثلين والفنانين والوجوه الإعلامية التونسية والمؤثرين وممثلي وسائل الاعلام الأجنبية الى جانب وزراء ومسؤولين حكوميين وممثلي البعثات الدبلوماسية .
